Which Values Are Measured By The BS 440 CONNECT?

The complete measurement process provides:

  • body weight
  • body fat ("FAT")
  • body water ("TBW")
  • muscle mass ("MUS")
  • bone weight ("BONE")

Also the scale calculates your daily demand on calories/basal metabolism ("BMR") and body mass index ("BMI"):

  • The basal metabolism (BMR) displays the daily need of calories of your body in a resting state.
  • The body mass index (BMI) grades your body weight (underweight, normal weight, overweight, obesity) in relation to your body size. The BMI is caculated with the body weight in kg (kilograms) devided by the squared body size in m (meters), so: "kg/m²".
