The World Health Organization (WHO) puts the ideal blood pressure for adults at 120/80 mmHg. 140/90 mmHg and above is considered slight hypertension. 160/100 mmHg and above is considered moderate to severe hypertension. The traffic-light scale at the bottom of the display gives an easy indication of the evaluation of your measured blood pressure. Green is for normal, yellow for slight hypertension and orange or red for moderate to severe hypertension. Note: Measure your blood pressure several times; do not draw conclusions from a single result. There are many factors that can affect the measured result, such as physical work, anxiety, stress or the time at which the measurement is taken.
